These pair of short stools were made from Audi A3 alloy wheels. The wheels and stands were powder coated in silver. They were all bolted together with stainless steel fasteners. The flat design of the face of the wheels meant they were comfortable enough to be used without any further piece added to the top surface.
This coffee table was produced using a front alloy wheel from a 3-Series BMW. The wheel was from an accident damaged vehicle and required a lot of work to get it back to the required standard. It was again powder coated in silver with the stand and assembled with stainless steel fasteners. As the fasteners could be seen they were fully mirror polished.
These are computer generated images of ideas for tables and a bar stool that have yet to be produced.
These two tables are in the 'Rat-Look' style. This basically means they are in their used state. Not to everyone's taste for the home, but they would be fine in a more industrial setting. The benefit of this is it keeps the cost to a minimum. The first one is a used professional magnesium race wheel from a Le Mans style car. It is very light. The wheel would have cost a fortune when new! The second one is built using two BBS RA wheels from a Mk2 Golf Gti.
